Who We Are

The Concerned Fathers Association(CFA)
Established on November 19, 1994, is a community-based organization dedicated to promoting the welfare of our youth and enriching their experiences through various activities.

We continue to inspire, enrich, and inform the youth within our community as well as neighboring communities by maintaining a strong sense of involvement.
We  provide all youths with programs that will increase their confidence as well as improve social development through mentoring, sponsoring alternative youth activities, providing volunteer services in the community, and fundraising for scholarships and special services.
Some of the programs include a six month Chess and Science Program, the Father Sons and Daughters Brunch, where we celebrate the accomplishments of our youth, provide scholarships to selected high school graduates, and the annual sponsorship of a high school senior or junior in the Historically Black College tour organized by the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
We are also participants in a number of community-based activities such as the annual community picnic, Kwanzaa and Black History programs which are designed to engage students within their community.
